A newly won government contract has created a demand for ESOH Engineers/Analysts with a solid concentration of safety expertise to help develop resolutions in support of our client’s Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health programs. Note: position locations depend on the customer set candidates will be supporting.
Stafford and Dahlgren, Virginia
As an ESOH Engineer/Analyst, you will perform Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH) support tasks for systems, subsystems and equipment in support of Navy and Marine Corps programs at our client’s Stafford and Dahlgren, Virginia, locations. You will continuously conduct analyses/studies to identify safety problems and issues and contribute to the subsequent implementation of improvements.
To qualify, you must hold a Bachelor’s degree and possess at least three years of relevant experience that include extensive knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs. MIL-STD-882 experience and familiarity with the Joint Software Systems Safety Handbook (SSSH) are also sought. DoD/USMC acquisition training/experience and understanding of the Acquisition Process and intertwinement of ESOH requirements and System Engineering requirements would be advantageous. Finally, Secret Security clearance, i.e., current or inactive within the past 5 years, is necessary.
