Teaching and Academic Advising (60%) - Teach undergraduate/graduate courses in Agricultural Education and Agricultural Communications. Serve as academic advisor for Agricultural Education and Agricultural Communications students and the Collegiate FFA. Service (30%) - Conduct University and public service activities including in-service training for secondary Agricultural Education teachers; coordinate selected District, Regional, and State FFA Career Development Events; and serve as a member of the State Joint Staff for Agricultural Education. Research (10%) - Conduct research/scholarly activities in successful candidate's area of expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS:
An earned doctorate in Agricultural Education or closely related field required (must have completed all requirements for the doctorate by date of employment); a minimum of three successful years teaching experience in Agricultural Education at the secondary level required; demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with faculty, staff, students, and alumni required; demonstrated ability for providing excellence in undergraduate/graduate advising and teaching in Agricultural Education Courses with program planning and experiential learning required; and demonstrated ability to work with high school Agricultural Education programs and other groups and agencies required. Preference will be given to candidates with undergraduate and graduate teaching experience and a record of successful external funding and/or scholarly activities.
